The united realm
King Aurelius Ducksworth III united the Seven Ponds. The House of Quackos presides over a kingdom of royal ceremony, premium-breadcrumb routes, court archives and unusually consequential paperwork.
Princess Belladonna is the recognized heir. Peregrine Mallardmoor’s parentage remains unresolved. His place in the court no longer depends on winning the crown.
Customs with consequences
The Royal Waddle is a matter of state. So are succession law, the eastern pond gate and goose diplomacy. Dame Willowfeather keeps the record; Sir Reginald occasionally mistakes a disagreement for a baguette duel.
A fictional calendar
Year zero is Aurelius III’s coronation. The present in the Register is Sun Crown 87: an 87-season reign, and a king aged 117. Calendar seasons are fictional dates, not published story seasons. The family tree and portrait archive explain the chronology.
