He sent a customer-satisfaction survey
Fictional editorial letter
Dear Duck,
After our first date, he emailed me a twelve-question survey. One question asks me to rate the kiss. Another asks whether I would recommend him to a friend. Do I answer?

Dear Valued Customer,
No. If you enjoyed the date, tell him that in ordinary words. If you did not, decline another. You are a person he took to dinner, not a focus group with a reservation.
As for recommending him to a friend: I would wait until he stops requesting written testimonials before the second date. I run a venue where the service is judged every night. Even we do not hand a guest a clipboard while their coat is still on.
