Include current photographs in which someone could recognize you arriving. Feeling like yourself is excellent. Requiring your date to perform archival reconstruction is less helpful.
Keep an older picture if its age is clear and it says something worth sharing. The point is not to prove you once had a magnificent holiday. It is to invite somebody to meet the person who can actually turn up.
