The fourteen-minute voice note
Fictional launch letter
Dear Duck,
A friend sends voice notes longer than most meetings. I care, but I cannot keep up.

Dear Listening Department,
Tell them what works: shorter notes, a written summary, or an actual call when you both have time. Caring is not demonstrated exclusively through uninterrupted audio consumption.
If there is a question, ask them to put it at the beginning. A fourteen-minute introduction ending with “anyway, what do you think?” is a documentary release, not a message.
