Prepared for everything except being remembered as “Junior.”

The eldest son of Aurelius II and Celestine spent his life preparing to inherit the elder crown. He married Isadora and became father to Aurelius III. His death one season before his son’s coronation left the succession to pass directly from grandfather to grandson. His surviving plans for the ponds are meticulous, humane and entirely devoid of a Royal Waddle. History has punished this lack of theatrical instinct.

His crown is shown beside him, never on his head. He did not reign.
