Son of Aurelius Junior and Isadora, grandson of Aurelius II and Celestine, and first cousin to Clement. Aurelius inherited the elder crown at thirty and forged the Seven Ponds into one kingdom. He invented the Royal Waddle, survived goose diplomacy and learned to distinguish a threat from a wounded duck wearing a threat’s costume. Belladonna is his daughter and heir. Peregrine’s disputed arrival tested his judgment more effectively than an army.
